The passing of a great man
The gates of heaven shall open
To welcome the righteous man
Into the promised land
The winged angel of the lord and master

Welcomes the new stranger into heaven
With a smile upon his face and says
Walk with me this way please sir
The master awaits your arrival

The donning of the white robe
And the blessing of his wings
The new member of the heavens
Has been given his angel wings

The horns sound throughout the heavens
To welcome the new angel into this land
Then the holy one approaches and places
A halo upon his head then he says
You have been chosen to be my angel
Arise my righteous friend and
Welcome to the holy land
