There Are Times When I Feel Smitten

Labyrinth that clouds my mind loosened thoughts that intertwine impulsive as I have become compare to thee my gentle one

There Are Times When I Feel Smitten

Labyrinth that clouds my mind
Loosened thoughts that intertwine
Impulsive as I have become
Compare to thee my gentle one

Fools have rushed into as much
And you’re within my heart, inasmuch

Oasis of my evening pleasure
Take my hand and at your leisure
Move me in mysterious ways
Till morning in the gentle rays

Cast the shadow from within my heart
Nuptials in which we both impart

Prudent in my thoughts of you
Within your embrace it must be true
Proverb read as it is written
There are times when I feel smitten
