Think Of Me Fondly

In silent hours when we were alone I remember bouncing you upon my knee and feeling an inner sense of glee Think of me fondly and I'll be your warmth

Think Of Me Fondly

In silent hours when we were alone
I remember bouncing you upon my knee
And feeling an inner sense of glee
Think of me fondly and I'll be your warmth

Even if I'm hidden from sight
You're never alone in the still of night
For in my spirit you're never far away
You were the love within my day

Twilight hours resting in my arms
How I wished I had kept you from harm

Never could I hope to find
Two gentler hearts then in my line
Son and daughter dearest know that I am here
And I have always loved you through the years
Remember me in morning rain
I love you dearly just the same

Once so small and full of life
You were the inspiration in my life
I cherished every moment that we shared
And I hope you know how much I cared
