To Have Lived & Loved

To have lived and loved
Is the greatest gift in life
For the essence that is love
Burns brightly in the ambience
Of loves passionate fires of delight

A window to the soul
The light of loves delight
Passion burns brightly
Among the heavens of the night
The ambience of love
Is so pure and so whole

It is the essence of who we are
And of everything we know
The love that we hold
Is the light the guides our lives

It will live forever in the stars of the heavens
As we live our daily lives
The heart shall hold the feelings
Of all our loves desires
As we move throughout our lives
