Twilight Dwindles

Question mead, I long to be
Your gentle light among your seas
Eternal tears, which I impart
Could this be my beating heart

Through shadows I have sort you out
Among the thoughts of endless doubt

Many tears have fallen flat
Among the stones upon my track
Many rivers rush to the sea

Yearn as I have yearned
Among the warmth of the fires burn
Twilight dwindles candles flame
Alas to hold my faith in vain

Frame me not on yonder wall
Among the whispers echoes call
Scribe not and challenge with
Among the parchment there it is

Chisel be thy work of hand
With the hope that, you might understand
