Twilight Rose

Marvel in your majesty I’ll lay here in hypocrisy shall I lay my head in shame to cast a shadow in your name

Twilight Rose

Marvel in your majesty
I’ll lay here in hypocrisy
Shall I lay my head in shame
To cast a shadow in your name

Vestal virgin in your plight
Set forth this feast this night
Suckle and the seed of man
And comprehend to understand

What’s the rose compare to thee
Has cast no shadow next to thee
Blossom blooms but once a year
Alas to feel you close and near

Warm your body by my heat
Heavenly angel with earthly feet
To the grape you’re twice as sweet
Succulent my earthly treat

Among the heavens I applaud
And you are the beauty I adore
To feel the warmth within your toes
Compare to thee, my twilight rose
