Unprepared
Linguistically I was unprepared
I couldn't find the words to share
I did have a sense time
While I was waiting beside the spinning dime
People seem to just stop and stare
While I was sitting in that eclectic chair
But did they even think to show they cared
While I was sitting there with that hollowed stare
I never cared for litigation
That had taken place of my preservation
Colours seem to fade to brown
I could hardly feel my feet touching the ground
Even when there was a sound
I couldn't help myself from falling down
Likelihood is that I was compromised
By the terror hidden in my eyes
But did anyone really realize
That I was caught behind these conspicuous eyes
I've felt the tears that fall upon my shoulder
With each day, I feel myself getting older
