Upon The New Horizon

Cool breeze upon the Atlantic ocean
The motion of the crashing waves
Filled with mixed emotions we prepare to set our sails
With the galling winds to carry us forward
We leave behind the place that we once knew

Sail through the heads upon the new horizon
Distant lands a world anew
With the ocean breeze to fill the sails
And the sound of distant whales
Beneath the ocean blue

The crashing waves upon the hull, details of our journey
To places of the new world
Subdued with the feelings of leaving home
As our home fades out of view
A tear is a reminder of the love I have for you

A heart of pure emotion as the wind fills my sails
The crashing of the wave and the thought of losing you
Quickening my thoughts as I cross the ocean blue
Tears fade into the abyss of an ocean
As I search for something new
New horizons, new emotions upon the ocean blue
