Vesper Be Thy Serpent Coil
My heart pulses in palpations
I'm not lost in my own expectations
Challenge me not in ignorance
For there is life in innocence
Who among the noonday sun
Could compare to you my son
Sheltered light has shadowed me
For I am bound to liberty
What light has come in winter rhyme
With echoed sounds among the chimes
If life is harsh, you can lean on me
Sheltered from the shadowed dreams
For solemn is it said
Among the toils of the web
Vesper be thy serpent coil
Among the leaves in winter spoil
