We Almost Touched
I only wanted to touch the sky
I thought that we cloud fly
To think and wonder why
We almost touched the sky
Staring up at the ceiling
There's no more deceiving
I'm sorry for my leaving
I never meant to be the one to burn you
I'm tired of knowing that I hurt you
All I tried to do was protect you
I never meant to be the one, to neglect you
Bad habits die when we get old
From the valley of the dolls
I'm feeling rattled within the cold
We should have touched the sky
I thought that we could fly
To think and wonder why
Another sad goodbye
