Where The Leaves Fall

Raindrops fell like tears from my eyes beneath the shadow of a cloudy sky violent winds howl through endless streets as the leaves pass swiftly beneath your feet

Where The Leaves Fall

Raindrops fell like tears from my eyes
Beneath the shadow of a cloudy sky
Violent winds howl through endless streets
As the leaves pass swiftly beneath your feet

Although the trees swayed like they were on parade
Their limbs were frayed by fallen snow
The ground was so heavy beside the brook
And yet the town had such a tranquil look

Where the branches let out a silent frown
Where the leaves fall, on hollow ground
Beneath the sea of twinkling lights
That filled the heavens in the evening sky

I am the one that ascends in silence
As we move across the evening skies
Know me, I am earth, I am living
Now listen hear me breathe
And know I am the only one and
There is nothing else like me
