Where Will It End
Daylight fades as the setting sun begins to fall
If you listen you'll hear the faded call
As squalling winds pass through the trees
Amidst the swirling of the fallen leaves
Pastures were once green and light
Submerged beneath a sea of white
Now that the day has grown so old
As life surrenders beneath the bitter cold
Snow flurries fall throughout the night
Mountain peaks all dressed in white
Patiently waiting till the morning light
Where will it end, this winters night
