Whispers
Through the fields she walks in silence
Her eyes sparkled with the deepest blue
Her tanned skin glistens beneath the southern sky
Like the heavens she walks
With the purity of heart
A thousand rose petals line the way into her heart
But none of us should know the heartache of her pain
Upon the dusty plains the coming rains
Will wash away the tears of a thousands years
She calls to the sun, burn the seed within my heart
Hold me within your warmth beneath the stars tonight
For the forest will shed its tears
As leaves fall from the trees, through the years
A thousand tears have brought us here
As we walk with the whispers of our souls
Will we ever listen to our hearts
Or are we lost within confusion
As we tear ourselves apart
