Who Am I, Your Gentle Neighbour

Cobbled streets fell under the toe amidst the eve of fallen snow within this world we stand-alone a solemn vowel beside my home

Who Am I, Your Gentle Neighbour

Cobbled streets fell under the toe
Amidst the eve of fallen snow
Within this world we stand-alone
A solemn vowel beside my home

The rustic leaves that whistled among the trees
Caught within the gentle breeze
Ease along my lonely stranger
Who am I, your gentle neighbour

A dim light glistens beneath a sea of light
My shadow walks beside me in its flight
Where clouds pass slowly within my sight
Is there hope beneath the stars this night

I thought that my feelings were perfectly clear
But then I heard the whispers of Jupiter in my ear
As the night passed by so slowly, I shed my tears
And lingered beside the thought that you were here

Silence breathes within my thoughts
Of what I've learnt and what I've taught

Like the rustic leaves that fall among the eves
As they pass among us in the breeze

Within this world, I hope you'll find your favour
Who am I, your gentle neighbour
