Who Could Compare

 Who Could Compare

A testament to thy good self
For I wouldn't want to be here with someone else
Saved for the thought of the unspoken
Two hearts that mend are never broken

Lead me out, and lean on me lover
Beyond this thought there is none other
Though I walked with earthly feet
To this our bond, I am discreet

Even when I've walked upon the lonely street
I've felt thy love and cherish you with earthly feet
Through rain of tears, and tears so sweet
Sacred vessel of you, my sweet

Who could compare, nor would they dare
For in my heart, I feel you there
And with that thought, I know you care

For when the day is cold, and I am older
And we are just a little bolder
Whisk me away
To the place where once we had played
And warmed me, beside the light of day
