Will You Wait For Me

Twilight falls on hollowed ground fallen leaves of border brown amidst the mist there is a solemn sound that calls to me in the still of night is there a beacon beyond your light that expresses your feeling and explains your plight

 Will You Wait For Me

Twilight falls on hollowed ground
Fallen leaves of border brown
Amidst the mist there is a solemn sound
That calls to me in the still of night

Is there a beacon beyond your light
That expresses your feeling and explains your plight
As we linger here within the night

Crashing wave upon the shore
Let out another final roar
Where now they rest forever more

As twilight fades beneath the grey
The sun now rises between the haze
I am lost within the secret maze
Is this the place of better days

As twilight fades away once more
Will you wait for me upon distant shores
Where overlapping waves now roar
Where we will dance again, once more
Beside the shifting sands of distant shores
