Willows Weep When Angels Speak
Willows weep when angels speak
In the place where angels walk with earthly feet
Comb like feathers thy golden age
Caught behind the seal of an open page
The lightening flared and then followed thunder
Majesty be this land of wonder
Hear the passage of my heart
Before I venture out on horse and cart
Tears fell from heaven then departed
But where for art thou and where to start
Fallen snow the wind swept below
Shall I follow the footsteps in the snow
As I turn which way to go
Truly only heaven knows
Tiny whispers beyond the light
Hear the message of my plight
Walk with me in cloudy skies
Beside the river as it cries
Shelter me beside the brook
And show how thy face does look
Fabled footsteps fallen words
Seldom be the passage heard
Spirit take me on to him
The one that dwells with light within
