Wipe Away Your Tears

I could tell you were or when
But would you ever understand
The reasons for my lying
When the world around us is dying
Should we turn and walk away
As the rivers slowly faded
Will we ever be the same
Or are we lost to yesterday
Caught within of our pain
As the rains fall from the heavens
Will know the scared place
That dwells deep within our hearts tonight
If we walk within the light
Will we listen to the night
When the sun is sure to rise
Wipe the tears there from your eyes
And save your place in time
