With Every Passing Moment

With every passing moment I have felt the heartache and the pain that has driven the valley of my tears through the years I have sat here in the silence reflecting on all the things that I have said and done just to live my life as I have followed the golden sun

 With Every Passing Moment

With every passing moment
I have felt the heartache and the pain
That has driven the valley of my tears
Through the years I have sat here in the silence
Reflecting on all the things that I have said and done
Just to live my life as I have followed the golden sun

But for the one there may be burdens
That dwell deep within their hearts
For are we humbled by our surroundings
As we watch the morning light

Do we surrender to the tears of heaven
Every time we step outside
And through the years I have seen
The showers and felt the power
That flows deep within my heart

And like the lonesome dove
I have risen above my troubles
And moved forward in my life
To find the quiet place that hides
Deep within my heart tonight
