Within

Life in all its majestic splendour delicate in all its nature for the light that fell from heaven
caught a glimmer in my eyes

Within

Life in all its majestic splendour
Delicate in all its nature
For the light that fell from heaven
Caught a glimmer in my eyes

Beside the warmth of life's sweet candle
That burns within my heart this night
As I dance the waltz within my heart
Beneath the stars this night
My heart shall sing with joy

To hold the hope before my eyes
To sow the seed that never cries
Beneath the hum of urban lights
As the stars glisten before my eyes

Neither rhyme nor reason to shed a tear
For in my heart I hold no fear
There is no need to weep beside the brook
Where others sway before they look

Silent passage of my fallen years
That I had shed with innocent tears
Once like wolves I was withered and torn
Before the light where I was scorned
