Yesterday Gone

Time seems to pass by within a blink of an eye
Beneath the seam of a cloudless sky
The passage of the years, has moved so fast
Did we lose our way or even forget the past
Are we caught within the hourglass
Yesterday is gone and I am still here
I thought I had figured out the workings
Of the master plan but I was so wrong
Riddled within this maze
Could we work it out
If I took my frustration out
Would you just leave me be
So I could sort it out
If I threw myself into the sea
Would you seek me out
Through these tears
I have felt my fears
Through the fallen years
I have conquered my fears
As I leave this world will I disappear
