Born of Lightening, Bound in Thought
Copperheads the heel of gates
Flutter in the winds of fate
Moonlit rise in marvel white
Set forth upon the bluest sky
Bask beside the levee wall
Among the leaves in gentle fall
To intense heat upon my limbs
Surrender to my inner whims
Born of lightening, bound in thought
In such things that I am taught
Vibrant reds, a slash of yellow
Beneath the sun so soft and mellow
Flowers dance upon the winds
Rumbling leaves of tied limbs
Mingle in the riverbeds
Softly gentle copperheads
Pass the meadows iron gates
Pastures beacon to my fate
Moonlit rise, now drenched in white
Set forth upon the stars in flight
