Heaven knows

Silent whispers early morning
Gathering thoughts cloud my mind
Heaven knows the day is dawning
My life echoes in the wind
Thoughts I wish I could portray
Noble gesture beneath my skin
Two hearts seldom beat as one
Heaven knows my haven hides
Beneath the sheltered morning sun
Passage written in my heart
Among the stars that burn so bright
Seldom said among the heavens where tears depart
