Murmured Shadows In The Night
Insignia of my passage song
Privilege laid, the day is long
Palomino, morning echoes on
Alas to sing with sound of song
Quench thy thirst my quivering hand
Urban myth before this land
Sceptical in life it seems
Passaged heart of endless dreams
Silent whispers behind blue eyes
Serious thoughts in compromise
Stratosphere the palest grey
Perhaps a thought I could convey
No shackled hands, nor heavy heart
Could contemplate the tears I part
Voodoo child unlikely foe
Towards the stars in heavenly glow
Threshold of the thoughts I knew
Thankful that my heart is true
