Near And Far
Hollowed morn in candlelight
Beneath the stars burning bright
A scent of summer in the breeze
As autumn falls among the leaves
Twilight as the seasons round
Entwined upon hollowed ground
Rustic look of fallen leaves
Shelter yet, among my eves
Pitter-patter fall of rain
Tiny tears, flow down the pane
Written in the grains of sand
Passions felt my fellow man
Long are the days that slip into night
Hollowed eve in mid twilight
Echoed whispers, distant stars
To count thy blessings, near and far
