Triolet Poems
A triolet poem is a French form of poetry dating back to the 13th century, and is unlike its other counter parts from the time period, this form of poetry uses repetition. A Triolet poem traditionally has eight lines with each line containing eight syllables and a rhyming scheme of ABaAabAB. Lines one, four, and seven are identical and lines two and eight are identical.
